How the Crystal Series works
The Crystal Series triple filters your household water in stages. Each stage performs a different role, helping improve the water before it is distributed throughout your home.
Stage 1
Removes dirt, rust & sediment
The first filter helps reduce dirt, sand, rust and suspended sediment. This improves water clarity and helps protect the carbon filters that follow.
Stage 2
Improves taste, smell and water quality
A carbon block filter works alongside your final filter to improve overall performance, for even better tasting water.
Stage 3
Choose Essential (CTO) or Advanced (PB1) Filtration
The last stage is where you choose how much you want filtered out: The Essential filter for everyday chlorine, taste and odour reduction, or the Advanced filter for that plus lead, heavy metals and more.
Customers concerned about scale can select an available Scale Inhibitor upgrade.

Does the Crystal Series remove bacteria and viruses from my water?
No. The Crystal Series is designed for mains water or other water that is already microbiologically safe. It targets sediment, chlorine, taste, odour and selected contaminants — it does not disinfect water. If your water source isn't already microbiologically safe, speak to us as we have a solution for this need.
What's the difference between the Essential and Advanced filter?
Both reduce chlorine, chloramine, PFAS, taste and odour. The Advanced filter also reduces lead, heavy metals, cysts and VOCs, for extra peace of mind on water quality.
Do I need the Scale Inhibitor cartridge?
It's optional, but worth considering if you're concerned about limescale build-up or corrosion in pipes, hot water systems and appliances over time.
Does the Crystal Series need to be installed by a plumber?
Yes, this product must be installed by a qualified plumber to ensure proper setup and functionality. We can recommend a trusted plumber if needed. However, once the system is installed, the filters are designed for easy replacement, allowing you to change them yourself with minimal effort.
How do I know if I need a Compact or Large system?
As a guide, Compact (10") systems suit 1–2 bathroom homes, and Large (20") systems suit homes with 2 or more bathrooms. Final sizing also depends on incoming pressure, pipe size, household demand, water quality and cartridge selection — if you're unsure, contact us and we can help.
How often do the filters need replacing?
Generally filters are replaced annually and we will send out a reminder to you. However, the need for replacement will depend on usage and quality of water of your source water. If your water usage is very high, or the water has been adversely impacted by a localised water incident, or even if you notice a change in the taste and odour of your water, your filters may need more regular replacement.
